Last week my friend got lost while biking in for her unknown territory, and I didn’t have the ability to complete my running activity in a such continuous manner as I had hoped for. I love tracking the progress with maps and RunKeeper, but during the week I didn’t have another opportunity to track the complete route, only each half of it. Thus I had to combine two GPX files that I exported from the RunKeeper website, and after some digging I found out how to use a software named GPSBabel to merge those files in two. I thought I would share, since it wasn’t the most intuitive solution.

1. Choose the file format you wish to import the files in (I think it’s possible to use multiple file formats, but RunKeeper exported in GPX, so I had two GPX files)

2. Then choose the files you want to combine (select multiple files)

3. Then click the Filters button, and for Tracks, check the box for “Merge”, click OK

4. Choose the output format and click the File Name button to type a file name and choose a save location

5. Click Apply

6. The results appear in the window

Finding the manual to 3M’s pocket projector MPro 150 is a bit tricky, so I though I would share some things on my blog, as googling is a lot faster sometimes than actually reading a manual.

How to mark a file as favorite
While browsing the files section of the projector, pressing the left button marked the file with a star, and in the start up view you simply choose the star to view your favorite file.

Blinking green light
Our projector wasn’t starting up properly, despite being plugged in and charged. The indicator kept flashing green. Simply taking out the battery and putting it back in solved the problem.
